Manufacturer’s growth gets a hand from Latimer Hinks Solicitors
Latimer Hinks Solicitors, has helped a leading manufacturer expand into additional premises.
Marine engineering products manufacturer Tekmar has moved into a new site at Darlingtons Faverdale Business Park, two years after Latimer Hinks helped to acquire its current Newton Aycliffe home in 2009.
Commercial property lawyer Neil Stevenson, a Partner at Latimer Hinks Solicitors, conducted the legal negotiations which helped Tekmar to buy the 20,000 sq ft Unit 3 building at Faverdale.
Tekmars expansion onto a second site marks continued growth for the firm, which has seen revenues treble to £15m following the launch of its new Teklink offshore wind power technology.
The new Darlington premises will house the firms subsea oil and gas work.
Neil Stevenson said: “Tekmar is a real manufacturing success story and has continued to go from strength to strength in recent years. This new unit at Faverdale Business Park allows the firm to continue its growth and push forward in the marine and offshore wind sector.
