To participate please complete the form below and suggest an appropriate piece of music to be added to our Swaledale Festival 2025 Spotify playlist.

We’re looking for music that chimes with Swaledale Festival 2025. Your selection doesn’t need to be by a specific artist or group in the line-up, but a track that you can connect with the programme in some way.

Seeking out the music is part of the fun. Whether you love classical, worldwide, jazz or folk music, or discover something unexpected that links with a Festival walk, talk, play or exhibition – we can’t wait to hear your suggestions!

Each successful submission will automatically be added to our draw to win two free tickets to the Jervaulx Singers concert at Aysgarth Church on 31st May 2025.

Swaledale Festival 2025 – Playlist Competition

Eligibility: Open to music lovers aged 12 and over.
Submission: Limit of one entry per person. Entries must be submitted via the form above.
Playlist Track Requirements: Your selection should be in tune with the variety of musical performances heard at Swaledale Festival. It doesn’t necessarily need to be by an artist at the Festival but a track that links to the 2025 programme.
Prohibited Content: Suggested tracks must not include unauthorised or inappropriate content.
Entry Deadline: All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM on Wednesday, 21st May 2025.
Announcement of Winners: The winning entry will be drawn at random by the Festival’s Artistic Director.
Use of Information: By entering, participants grant the organisers, Swaledale Festival and sponsors Latimer Hinks the right to use the names of participants and submitted tracks for purposes related to promoting the event.
