Expert panel to discuss state of Darlington property market

Darlington residents will have the opportunity to watch a live discussion as property experts and Darlington Borough Council Cabinet Member for Economy and Regeneration Portfolio, Chris McEwan, gather to examine the town’s property market.

The group, brought together by The Northern Echo and Darlington-based solicitors, Latimer Hinks, will look at the Darlington local plan and discuss the pros and cons of the Council’s ambitious house-building plans.

The Darlington Property Forum will be streamed live on Facebook, giving local residents unique insight into the views of individuals involved day to day in the property sector.

Nicola Neilson said: “This forum is a great chance to discuss in depth housing issues that are affecting the local area. These include the local development plan and specific allocation targets set by the council.

“Housing is one of the key issues in every town and city, whether it is a shortage of homes or an area that is full of For Sale signs.  The Property Forum members all bring key insights into the Darlington property market and for anyone living and working in the town it will be a fascinating discussion and well worth watching.”

The event is taking place on Tuesday June 5th at 12.30pm. https://www.facebook.com/RecognitionPR/videos/1441945665838125/
