Gillian qualifies as a solicitor

Latimer Hinks has welcomed a new addition to its team of legal eagles.

Gillian Perkins, 25, this month achieved a long-standing ambition by qualifying as a fully-fledged solicitor.

Gillian joined the Darlington-based firm three and a half years ago from Leicester University where she studied Law and Economics. Before that she attended Conyers Comprehensive School in her home town of Yarm and gained A Levels in History, Economics and English Literature.

Now living in Darlington, Gillian works within the Private Client department of Latimer Hinks and is looking forward to a busy future. I have always wanted to become a solicitor and now that I’m qualified I look forward to expanding my role here, she said. For me, one of the attractions of the profession is the fact that it is so varied. Its a job that certainly keeps you on your toes.
