Here below you can see examples of music from a number of the artists who will be performing at the Swaledale Festival 2026.

For your chance to win a luxury hamper tailored to your tastes, along with a pair of complimentary tickets to one of this year’s Festival highlights Love Flows as the Brook Flows you can submit one, two, or three pieces of music from artists you think would make a positive contribution to future Swaledale Festival line-ups.

To participate in this year’s competition please complete the form below and suggest your own, suitable music track to be added to our Swaledale Festival 2026 Spotify playlist.

We’re looking for music that chimes with Swaledale Festival.  Your selection doesn’t need to be by a specific artist or group in the line-up, but a track that you can connect with the programme in some way.

Seeking out the music is part of the fun. Whether you love classical, worldwide, jazz or folk music, or discover something unexpected that links with a Festival walk, talk, play or exhibition – we can’t wait to hear your suggestions!

Terms and Conditions

Swaledale Festival 2026 – Playlist Competition

  1. Eligibility: Open to music lovers aged 12 and over.
  2. Submission: Limit of one entry per person. Entries must be submitted via the form above.
  3. Playlist Track Requirements: Your selection should be in tune with the variety of musical performances heard at Swaledale Festival. It doesn’t necessarily need to be by an artist at the Festival but a track that links to the 2026 programme.
  4. Prohibited Content: Suggested tracks must not include unauthorised or inappropriate content.
  5. Entry Deadline: All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM on Wednesday, 20th May 2026.
  6. Announcement of Winners: The winning entry will be drawn at random by the Festival’s Artistic Director.
  7. Use of Information: By entering, participants grant the organisers, Swaledale Festival and sponsors Latimer Hinks the right to use the names of participants and submitted tracks for purposes related to promoting the event.
